Drowning

Oh my, been drowning at work. WHEW.
My sinus infections won’t go away. I hate it. I think maybe it’s time for a doctor’s visit now that insurance has kicked in.
Alright back to work…

I’ve had this annoying cold for the last 2 weeks. I’m all phlegmy and gross. The other day I went to the gym. After 4 weeks of not doing weights, I went back full force. Not a good idea. My biceps are so sore, and I went on Wednesday, it’s now Saturday. Arg. Once I get better, I need to start going everyday as usual. I’ve definitely noticed that I’m much more tired if I don’t go. I also bought running shoes from Run On (I totally recommend them by the way). So hopefully I’ll start running full force. My goal is to be able to run 4 miles nonstop 3 times a week. Yeah. Ok.
Work is work. We’re approaching the holiday season which is the most hectic season. EEK.
I need to go get my nails done today. The French nails I had done for the wedding is starting to look stupid as my nails are growing out, so I need to get those removed. I need to get my toes done, last time of the year as the closed toe shoes season begins.
I want to go shoe shopping. Something about shopping for shoes is much more fun that shopping for clothes. I want new boots (again), this time low heels – like the riding boots.
JCrew has the perfect ones, but they’re ridiculously expensive.
I also need some pumps. I don’t have any good pumps. Although I’m not sure where I wear any of this since the dress code at work is casual.
Anyway, we got a couple sets of fiestaware in purple and green in the mail this week. So pretty!
Um still need to finish those thank you cards. I bought more since I ran out so I’ve got about 5 more to write and then I need to address them all and send them out by Monday hopefully.

Brian and I will be running/walking at the Ft. Worth Race for the Cure along with other brides to be or brides from the DFW Knot board. Please make your donations for this great cause in honor of the many women who went through this including Brian’s mom by clicking on the image above.
Dear Friends and Family,
I recently accepted the challenge to raise funds to support the Komen Tarrant County Race for the Cure on Saturday, April 15, 2006, in the fight against breast cancer. One in seven women will be stricken with breast cancer in her lifetime and the more we raise, the more the Tarrant County Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation can give back to fund vital breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in our own community and support the national search for a cure.
Please join me in the fight by pledging in support of my participation in the Race or contributing generously to Komen Tarrant County Race for the Cure. Your tax-deductible contribution will fund innovative outreach and awareness programs for medically underserved communities in Tarrant County and national breast cancer research. It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause – you can make a donation online by simply clicking on the link at the bottom of this message. If you would prefer, you can also send your tax-deductible contribution to the address listed below. Whatever you can give will help! I truly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.
Thank you so much for your time and support in the fight against breast cancer! Every step counts!
Sincerely,
Christina

ughhhhhhh. I think my cold has gotten worse today….
Yesterday we met with Bella Pictures. Prices were ok. Their medium package starts at 2500 for 8 hours. You do have to pay 150 dollars per photo for retouching. What the heck??
The appt was at the Starbucks on Beltline in Addison, and guess who walks in, Yi. I need to call her and see what’s up.
