Update on life

I haven’t posted in awhile. Its been a hectic week and it feels like its never ending. I even had to reschedule my Pmp exam since I’m behind with studying. Anyway my dad is in the hospital. Its been over a week. They are trying to control his blood sugar and his kidneys have reached the advanced stages meaning in about six to a couple years it could fail altogether. Not cool. So I’m not quite sure what to do. I told my parents it is about time that they move in with my sister in MN. It’s not that I don’t have time for them or that I can’t make the time but my sister and her family are more suited to care for them then I am. That is what’s important. I can’t tow my dad back forth to the hospital especially if he has to be on dialysis one day. Anyway that is what I’ve been dealing with. It sucks but what can you do? Anyway I hope that in the short term things will be ok. I just want my dad out of the hospital. Poor guy, he is miserable.

If I were you no matter what, I will have never left my dad as he was always with me even when I couldn’t open full eyes. He taught me all that he could, gave me all and now when he needs me I feel him like a spare vehicle. I still remember a little story about a boy who had a very old father with little visibility, there was a crow on the wall; father asked son! What is this, CROW! replied the son. Father, asked again, ITS A CROW; can’t you remember replied the son. After a pause, father repeated same question, now anger was visible on sons face; HOW MANY TIMES DO I NEED TO TELL YOU said the son very rudely. Dad became quite and then slowly moved to the room and brought a little diary, and asked the son to read it for him. The diary para stated “Today, I am very happy and excited, my son has started to speak words, he learnt the word CROW, who is sitting on the wall, he asked me about the crow for 63 times and each time I have patted and kissed him with affection and told him Son it’s a crow “. Tears! Coming down the son’s cheek after reading the 20 year old diary; Son! The father said I just asked for 3 time and you got angry and I explained the same thing to you for 63 time. So, care for your parents otherwise do not hope that our kids will show some mercy for us.

I don't quite know what to put here. I am Christina married to Brian. Originally I would post on LJ, but Brian decided to design a site just for me so that I can talk about him or at least talk about adjusting to the married life. Feel free to leave comments and suggestions. Hope you enjoy! More...
