Help me fight this infection

I can’t take this anymore. My head feels like it wants to explode. What’s the best remedy for sinus infections? I seriously need to get myself to a doctor. I hate this weather, when is it going to get cooler?? And can someone one please tell me what Coremetric tags are???

Today was not a good day. I’m ready for bed and the weekend.

Oh yeah. The thank you cards are in the mail. Finally! I’ve got 10 more I need to find addresses for. I’ll get to that soon, I hope.

coremetric as in an online analysis company? if that’s what you are talking about, i would guess that these are tracking tags placed on websites to anayze traffic.

Yes. That was a random work question. I know what they are, but that’s about the only thing I know. Unfortunately I need to be able to speak intelligently about it at 3 today with a client.

Hi Chhom, sorry to hear that you’re not feeling well.

Sinus infections, if bacterial and not viral, can only be treated with antibiotics. However, you can reduce the annoyances of the symptoms by taking Sudafed (behind the pharmacy but does not require a prescription), Sudafed PE (OTC), Claritin, Benadryl, and Tylenol.

Sudafed & Sudafed PE are very effective nasal decongestants; don’t take if you have uncontrolled hypertension. Claritin and Benadryl are antihistamines if your nose is also runny. The former is non-drowsy, and latter is good if you’re trying to catch some zzzzzz’s. Tylenol or Aleve is helpful if your sinuses are causing a headache.

Generics are available for all these and are equally effective, just lower in cost. Make sure you’re not allergic to anything before buying it. If your symptoms prolong, you should go to a doctor and ask for a Z-Pak (generic available, 5-day course), a Tri-Pak (3-day), or Zmax (1-dose), or some other antibiotic.

I hope you feel better soon and that your new hubby’s taking good care of you!

We should definitely hang out sometime… Call me!
