Our Married Life

Ok, so yesterday we finalized our rehearsal dinner location. Finished putting together the invitations which will go out this week. I hope it’s not too late. Eek. I have to go to church with my parents sometime not this weekend, but the weekend after to hand out the invitations. I’m sending my sister a few so she can mail out to her friends. I’m hoping to get it all out there by July 30th. A month ahead of the date, I think we’ll be ok.

Next thing to do is the little stuff. Update our registries, draw a layout of the tables, buy candy for candy buffet, buy stuff we need for the honeymoon, take my bridals, get the dress spot cleaned and pressed after the bridals, make appt at hotel for bachelorette stuff.

We have a shower this weekend that Brian’s aunt is throwing for us and one in August so that takes up two weekends. What else???

I just realized I needed 300 stamps for all 150 invites. That’s 117 bucks. That cost more than the actual invitations. Arg.

Ok, so it’s not a traditional traditional Cambodian wedding dress. Far from it. But it’s actual hand made Cambodian silk which the seamstress made into a lovely two-piece dress. Sorry for the incomplete picture. I don’t know when I’m going to wear this during the wedding, but I guess we’ll see. I also got to pick up my actual wedding dress on Sunday. I went with my mom and this was the first time she saw it. She liked it, thank goodness. I’m super excited to wear it for my bridals. Yay.

Ok, so I need some glue or something to help me with this process. But basically here are my invites. I need to improve on my ribbon tying skills mainly because these ribbons are so thick. Which do you like better? I’m hoping to get these all assembled and sent out by next Saturday!!!

Look what we bought yesterday. We got a platinum 5 stone band for moi (the one in the picture isn’t the exact one but pretty similar), and a white gold ArtCarved band for Brian. I can’t wait to get it back from them.

We’re going wedding band shopping today. AND the invites have been printed! AND only 60 more days till our wedding!!!!!!
